Laserkeilauksen huippututkimus edistää kehityspolkua kohti 3D-Suomea!

Urban Millin pitkäaikaisimpiin yhteistyökumppaneihin lukeutuva Aalto yliopiston Rakennetun ympäristön mittauksen ja mallinnuksen instituutti MeMo:n saavutuksia on näyttävästi esillä lokakuussa julkaistussa Maankäyttö-lehden numerossa 3/2020.

Julkaisuissa esitellään mm. Suomen Akatemian vuosiksi 2014-2019 tutkimuksen huippuyksiköksi valitseman Laserkeilauksen tutkimusyhteisön saavutuksia ja vaikuttavuutta, rakennetun ympäristön näkymiä trendien ja megatrendien valossa sekä miten rakennetun ympäristön 3D-malleja hyödyntämällä virtuaalitodellisuuden sovelluksissa myös kiinteistöalan koulutus voi saada merkittävän uuden resurssin.

MeMo:n julkaisut ovat ladattavissa pdf-tiedostoina alla olevista linkeistä:

Tietoa MeMo:sta

Aalto-yliopiston suositus maskien käytöstä kampuksella – Aalto University’s recommendation on mask use on campus!

Aalto University’s recommendation on mask use on campus

Dear members of the Aalto community,

Based on the broadened mask recommendation from Finnish authorities, Aalto University recommends the use of masks in indoor spaces on campus starting 1 October. Exceptions can be made for health-related reasons. Information on masks and their use can be found on the Finnish institute for health and welfare’s (THL) website.

We recommend using masks particularly in situations where social distancing cannot be ensured, such as in public spaces where there are other people. In a confined space where there are no other people, there is no need to use a mask.

While working and studying on campus, each person must take care to maintain appropriate distance from others and good hand hygiene. Everyone is responsible for their own safety, but also for the safety of others when working indoors on campus. If you have symptoms of a cold, flu or another contagious disease, please stay home.

For Aalto University corona instructions, see our website https://www.aalto.fi/en/aalto-university/information-on-coronavirus. If you do not find answers to your questions in our published material, you can email us at corona.information@aalto.fi with the subject line ACRE: the topic of your question.

Aalto University Campus & Real Estate

Ville Jokela

Managing Director

The Aalto University Crisis Management Team (CMT) is responsible for Aalto University’s instructions. Led by the president, the CMT includes the head of security and risk management and director of communications, as well as other key Aalto staff as necessary. The CMT follows the coronavirus situation, keeping in close contact with authorities and formulating measures to be taken by the university, while also making use of the situational assessment of Finnish authorities and expert opinions.

Try Mindfulness meditation in Urban Mill at PDP Gala 4.9.2020

Announcement for PDP Gala 2020 visitors from Urban Mill ecosystem actor network: Experience how mindfulness practices make difference in the state of your mind and learn how mindfulness can support your team.

MINDFULNESS SUPPORTING YOUR TEAM | FRIDAY 4.9.2020 at 11:00-13:00
4 different practices á 30 min: 11:00, 11:30, 12.00, 12:30

Urban Mill, Betonimiehenkuja 3E, Otaniemi, Espoo, Finland

An innovative mind and good communication work best when there is just a moderate amount of stress, when one feels him/herself safe. This is something that you can improve with mindfulness-meditations. You may practice these meditations privately or as a team.

Well experienced, professional mindfulness teacher Erja Lahdenperä, Helsinki Mindfulness will guide these meditations.

Fri 4.9.2020 – 4 different exercises

At 11.00 Body and breathing.
Calming down the nerve system, helping brains to become more open and observative. You might notice that you are finding solutions more easily.

At 11.30 Meditation of the sounds.
Opens the mind to observe the ”bigger picture”, perhaps also a different point of view.

At 12.00 Body and breathing with the difficult sensations in our body
One learns how to be with the problematic moments. Staying there calmly gives you an opportunity to notice the way out instead of pretending that the difficulty doesn’t exist.

At 12.30 Body scanning
Helps to calm down and to become close to yourself. Helps to improve emotional intelligence and gives a way to recognize the hints of intuition.

Be at the place in time because we will close the door when we start.

You may come only for one meditation or you may like to try them all.

Give yourself, your body, brains and heart this experience. You will notice the difference.

See you at PDP Gala!

Erja
