Lauantaina 28.4 Marian sairaalan tunneleissa järjestetään unohtumattomat bileet, kun Euroopan suurin opiskelijoiden yrittäjyystapahtuma FallUp järjestää MashUp’in, joka kokoaa yhteen Aalto-yliopiston ja Hankenin opiskelijoita.
Ennennäkemättömässä tapahtumassa on paikalla mm. glitternisti, Singa-karaoke sekä dj:t Yeboyah ja Koponen. Tapahtumaan saa tuoda omia juomia, mutta lipun hintaan sisältyy myös muutama virvoke.

Have you ever thought telling about your fresh business idea to someone or are you interested in hearing about them? Well you’re in luck as Aaltoes is launching a new pitching evening in January. Startup Sauna will transform into an arena for innovative new ideas on 31st of January with four judges and an explosive crowd evaluating your demo.
Workshop day (30.1)
To help our startups prepare for the main event, Will Martin will host a workshop the day before (Monday 30.1) to give enough time for polishing pitches and working on stage presence. Each startup will receive expert guidance on how to make the most of their three-minute time to shine (e.g. overcoming stage fright, handling the judg…es and networking after the competition).
Our honorable panel of judges includes, for example, the seasoned Mike Bradshaw from Solu Machines and investor Jakob Storå from Superhero Capital. They will determine who wins private consulting from the judges to boost their company further and learn a thing or two.
Food, drinks and networking will also be served after the competition. We only have room for eight startups to present their idea and receive valuable feedback for their product so apply quickly and prepare your three-minute pitch!

Aaltoes (Aalto Entrepreneurship Society) pilotoi tänä keväänä kolmivaiheista, kaikille avointa TeamUp -konseptia. Ohjelman tapahtumilla tavoitellaan yrittäjähenkisten henkilöiden yhteen saattamista. Taustalla ovat ensimmäisen vuoden kauppatieteiden opiskelijat Anttoni Aniebonam ja Joakim Isoaho.
Ohjelma on tarkoitettu niin yksilöille, jotka kaipaavat idealleen toteuttajia, kuin myös valmiille tiimeille, jotka haluavat edistää konseptiaan pidemmälle. Yli kolmesataa hakemusta osoittaa, että tapahtumalle on tarvetta. Mukaan mahtuu noin 250.
Tulevan viikonlopun 4.-6.3. tapahtumassa Startup Saunalla edistetään tiimien syntyä ja kehitetään ideoita. Koska valmista reseptiä ei ole, TeamUpissa kokeillaan useita, aiemmin toimiviksi todettuja konsteja. Osa viikonlopun aktiviteeteista järjestetään Startup Saunan naapurissa sijaitsevassa Urban Millissä, joka on yksi tapahtuman tukijoista.
Tapahtuman aikana tiimit saavat ammattimaista valmennusta idean kehitykseen ja tuotteistukseen.
Phase 1 (Land): TeamUp Bootcamp 4.-6.3.2016
Teamup Bootcampin eli Land vaiheen jälkeen seuraa Sea vaihe Viking Linen risteilyaluksella 1-2. huhtikuuta, ja lopulta Air vaiheessa jäljellä olevat tiimit lennätetään Eurooppaan. Jokaisella vaiheella on oma tehtävänsä, joiden lopputuloksena tavoitellaan kansainvälisesti skaalautuvia palveluita ja tuotteita.
Viisi voittajatiimiä pääsee mukaan Aaltoes:n kesän kiihdyttämöohjelmaan.

On 23rd of April, Urban Mill welcomed 30 innovative and young talents in a rapid prototyping workshop and competition organized by Aalto Entrepreneurship Society Aaltoes and sponsored by Fjord.
Participant of this workshop-competition were international and multidisciplinary people who wanted to spend a day, learning how to get real with sketches and ideas and building them in a short time.
Fjord as a service design agency walked participants through the process, from Discovery to Describe and Design. Participants worked on the real service design case of Aurinkomatkat and did their very best to redesign their service in a short time.
At the end of the day, the stakeholder got surprised by the quality of works achieved in a short time and evaluated all the works and selected the best one.

Urban Mill – Building IntenCity!
