DIGILE’s traditional Foresight Seminar is organized today Wednesday 28.01.2015 in Paasitorni, Helsinki.
DIGILE’s Board of Directors has decided that the next main theme for DIGILE will be entitled ”Co-creative intelligence” with the meaning of the future fusion and mixture of artificial intelligence, human intelligence and the intelligence of the crowds. This fusion will be manifested in a number of ways, most of them are still totally unknown for all of us. Now it is time to start to move to this direction. In DIGILE SRA-portfolio important changes are seen, three of our programs (DS, D2I and IoT) will have their fourth year 2015 and therefore we need to have new SRAs and new Tekes-programs starting at the beginning of 2016.
The seminar is divided in two parts: the morning part contains keynotes and expert lectures. The speakers include Reijo Paajanen, Koert van Mensvoort, Jarkko Vesa, Ville Peltola and Neil Harbisson. The afternoon part is devoted to future research activities of DIGILE. After the introduction of the new set of research instrument SRAs (Strategic Research Agenda) and SRIA (Strategic Research Innovation Agenda), a number of proposals for possible new SRAs and SRIAs will be presented.
